BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo Review

BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo is a luxury sedan available in 535i and 550i trim levels. This automotive is capable of seating five passengers in comfort. For 2011, Gran Turismo receives an all-wheel version for its 535i trim.

Engine Specs

2011 BMW 535i is equipped with a turbocharged 3.0-L inline 6-cylinder engine, which delivers 300 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque. The new 550i features a powerful 4.4-L twin-turbo V8 engine to boast the power up to 400 horsepower and torsion of about 540 pound-feet. Both engines are paired to an 8-speed automatic gear transmission with manual shift control as standard.

The rear-wheel drive system is standard on both trims, but buyers can choose all-wheel drive for xDrive models.

The EPA fuel economy of 550i is rated at 15 mpg in city, 22 mpg on highways and 18 mpg on combined driving. The 535i trim achieves an impressive gas mileage of 20/30/24.The xDrive models gets net one mpg less.

The invoice price of RWD 535i is $51,980 and MSRP is around $56,500. The invoice price of all-wheel drive 535i models is around $54,095, while its MSRP is around $58,800. The base price of BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo 550i models start at $59,250.
