The 2009 BMW 5 Series model has unique extra wide and front end fenders. The dimensions of the 2009 version are slightly enlarged to increase the rear seat space, while the lower ride height and the wider track give the luxury car more ground hugging position.
Engine & performance
The 17 inch wheels are standard to all the 2009 BMW 5 Series models, while it offers 18 inch and 19 inch wheels as optional. The lower height and wider track makes the model to look like a coupe model. The luxury car is powered by a standard 2.5 liter engine that produces power up to 218 hp and it also offers five engines as optional, ranging from the 2.0 liter model that delivers 175 hp to 4.4 liter V8 bi-turbo engine that produces power up to 408 hp.
Advanced features
Though the size of the 2009 BMW 5 Series model has been increased, the overall weight of the car has been reduced and this reduction in weight is due to its light weight materials. The new features in the 5 Series version include air conditioning with automatic climate control, navigation system with real time traffic updates and weather reports, and satellite radio.
